		<description>Kathryn: Oh yeah. I try to do that too, and it usually helps a lot. I mean, I liked the first Fantastic 4 movie, and that one didn't really get a good reception either. I didn't exactly sit through Silver Surfer thinking about all the changes they made, but they kind of bowled me over when the film was done. When you lower your standards and the movie still doesn't impress, that's not a good sign. :-)

At least comic book adaptations tend to be better than video game movies. I guess there's always going to be major differences when you switch from one medium to another -- but I still wish they'd do it better.</description>

		<description>The sad fact is that almost any adaptation is going to fall short of the original.  I try to go into these movies without expectations and expecting to see something unique.  Otherwise I spend the whole time looking for the differences and miss the movie - if that makes sense.</description>
