Today we take a look at a page that went through a pretty significant transformation during the process of creating Issue No. 2!

Today we take a look at some thumbnails from the creation of Issue No. 2.

But first, the results of the cover poll!

And the winner is … Heroic Breakfast! Which is probably a good choice. There was some discussion outside of the comments on the cover poll and it was pointed out to me that Stiletto has a pretty decent reveal in the interior of the issue, and this is the only cover that preserves that — no spoilers!

On the other hand, I now need to design a logo for Quinoa Bran Flakes. Hm.

We’ve got some bonus features today, focusing on some character designs and history for The Human Comet and Stiletto!

Well, that’s it for Issue No. 2! Glad we could end on a high note — wait, what? We didn’t end on a high note? Quick! We’ll distract everyone with a cover poll!

As we learned last time, comic book cover artists usually throw together a few thumbnails for possible cover designs — and their editors select from those which cover they want the artist to draw. But I’m my own editor, so that doesn’t really work?
